In-School Counseling Services

To help increase access to mental health services for youth and to eliminate barriers that exist for some families to bring their children to our office for counseling, MaineStay also offers counseling services during the school day at four different school locations. We have partnered with District 63 and District 207 to provide in-school counseling services at Apollo Elementary School, Melzer Elementary School, Washington Elementary School, and Maine West High School. These services are typically arranged from referrals received directly from the school.

Counseling Internship Training Program

MaineStay Youth & Family Services has developed a reputation as one of the premier counseling internship training sites in the Chicagoland area. Over our 50 year history, MaineStay has trained nearly 100 master's level counseling students in strength-based brief family therapy.
